Yep. They want to create dependence on the welfare and not use it as it was intended as a hand up.
Just like I'm sure the democRAT leadership intentionally wanted people to get more unemployment money than they ever made on their checks. They knew a lot of people in their "target group" would quit their jobs to go get that "free" money.
You’re evidently out of touch with reality. Number ONE, I didn’t cave, business STOPPED, no money to pay for services, equals no services. Number two sue who, the government, with what no business means NO money. Number three, even if there were money for two, courts aren’t operating for anything other than the most pressing matters. A small business owner suing the .gov isn’t that. I’ve been out everyday looking to keep my business running, but everyday, more potential customers and current customers close, some for good. Those who are still getting paid for their essential work, will find those jobs drying up soon as well, this cannot go on much longer or we’ll see a Depression FAR worse than The Great Depression.Did you cave to the government's heavy hand or did you sue for your rights?
I've wondered since the beginning of this thing how much of the reaction was based on limiting liability. How many decisions were made based on concerns about firms like "the screwdriver" filing huge wrongful death claims over grandma passing from covid?

And as se often say on INGO follow the money...
Senator Dr. Scott Jensen told reporters that he received a document coaching him to fill out death certificates with a Covid-19 diagnosis without lab confirmation. That the AMA was promoting this.
He told Laura Ingraham that Medicare is giving $13,000 to the hospital for each Covid-19 patient and if that patient goes on a vent $39,000. Could that be why they wanted vents so bad?
This is going to end up in someone’s sig
line. You know that, right?
LOL
I think it's the perfect reply to a-holes
Replies from family members when I texted "just got called an a-hole" to them included, "Did he know you?" and "Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders"
So it's not just me noticing the scarves.I might be naive but I’m hoping Trump is getting close to kicking Dr. “Papers Please!” And the scarf queen back to the lab and start telling the governors to let ‘Er rip.
Under the 'am I paranoid enough' rubric, an somewhat crazy idea keeps nibbling at my mind. What if the left is taking a lesson from history, the lesson that it took a complete shattering of the economy and hard times for almnost everybody in order to make sweeping changes towards socialism. Specifically electing FDR as some sort of savior and allowing him to make changes so radical he wanted to pack the supreme court in order to get his way. Since many things they want to do would seem aimed at making the problems worse, perhaps they've concluded they need a similar level of crisis to get progressivism progressing again. I don't see Trump playing Hoover, though
I don't think he actually has that much influence directly, but Soros is amoral enough to function as a sort of Dr Strangelove for the movement. Don't know who might be the Blofeld

I have noticed this about a great many Washington D.C. "Professional Women." It's a regional-beehive sort of style statement that seems to go back there a few years. A girl I went to HS with who is up there now, is a "Scarf Gal." There seems to be a certain level of stature that goes with it, as in like "Agency Head" or "Deputy Assistant Something Or Other." The Female Code doesn't seem to allow young beta females to do it. (Or maybe they just aren't old enough to have turkey neck yet?).
Very few indeed have ascended to the level of the Hillary Pantsuit yet, though.
