I think the AFC East is the most interesting division in the NFL this season. Fins, Pats, and Jets all got better and the Bills, at best, held on. They play a tough schedule starting with 6 games beating themselves up, the NFC East, and the AFC West.

The national media coverage on the Johnathon Taylor situation is so unbelievably asinine.

“The Colts don’t want to pay Taylor like a top dollar player but also want top dollar trade value for him.”

Does everybody seriously not know how negotiations work?

The Colts have literally said the entire time that they don’t want to trade him.

    “Is your house for sale?”

    “No”

    “Seriously, how much?”

    “It’s not for sale”

“Oh come on, everybody’s for a price”

    “2 million dollars”

“You’re an idiot for asking that much. You should be ashamed.”

JT hires a new manager that blows him up to think he is worth more than he actually.

Something I learned from the above article.

If you want Derrick Henry money be like Derrick Henry

'Take Derrick Henry for example. when he got his contract he had played his entire rookie deal, and a season under the franchise tag. He appeared on 15 or more games the first five seasons of his career. He led the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns the past two years before getting the deal, and he did not hold out or cause any drama like JT is doing right now. '

This leaves only Pittman, Pierce and Downs as the only WRs on the 53 man roster. Wonder what they are up to? Still have five TEs. Maybe line one or two up at WR. Probably have some intertest in some of the free agents out there.
They tried to get Waddle from the fins…

Why did we release him? Squatting would not cost anything as best I understand it…

He can’t play for the whole season. Keeping a guy on your roster that won’t/can’t play for a whole year isn’t good business.

More of the Taylor/Colts story is coming out.

This is all “allegedly” of course.

Jeff Saturday pressured Taylor into coming back before he was fully healthy last season to try and save face and win a game. This caused Taylor to aggravate his ankle even worse. Which caused him to need off-season surgery. That’s what Taylor is miffed about.
