Pittman has the second longest YAC in week 7 catching the ball with an expected 6 yards after the catch but going for 61, 55 more than expected by nextgen stats…

    That’s Pittman’s game.

He’s not a good separator. His route running isn’t elite.

But he’s very physical at the catch point and is underrated as a YAC guy.

Shallow crossers. WR screens. 50/50 balls. That’s his bread and butter.

The Wildcard tiebreakers this season are going to be ludicrous. There’s gonna be 6 teams with 9 wins.

And there is a lot more division rival games coming up.

The Bengals, Ravens, Bills, 49’ers, Dolphins, and Cowboys have very tough schedules. Of course the top three are AFC teams.

    Cincinnati Bengals

“Houston and Indianapolis are the “easier” games on the Bengals’ schedule, but both franchises are playing better than we anticipated heading into the season. They also have games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers twice.”

“The Ravens’ schedule ranks as the second-most difficult in the NFL. The Jaguars, Dolphins, 49ers, Bengals, and Browns are all playoff contenders. Even the Chargers, who have underperformed in 2023, will not be an easy out on the schedule.”

“The Bills already lost to the Jets once this year, so it’s hard to consider them a “lesser” opponent. Still, Buffalo also faces the Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Cowboys. That’s the top two teams of each conference currently.”

Now the Colts. The Colts could win 10 games…

    31) Indianapolis Colts

“Even without rookie QB Anthony Richardson, the Indianapolis Colts shouldn’t have many issues remaining competitive with the rest of their schedule. The Bengals and Steelers are better teams, but they also get games against the Patriots, Raiders, and Titans.”

    Bucs. Very Winnable

    Titans. VW

    Bengals. Tough game

    Steelers. Tough game

    Falcons. VW

    Raiders. VW

    Texans. VW

If anything, we want the Bengals or Browns to win the AFC North. That would put the Ravens in the wild card picture and we have the head-to-head win over them. Assuming of course we end with the same record.

Funny thing about the Colts is, feels like all of the remaining games are both simultaneously very winnable and very lose-able.

We could just as easily finish 6-11 as we could 10-7.

Realistically we probably finish 8-9. That’s still a massive improvement from last season, especially with a backup qb for the majority of the year.

This team with Richardson wins 10 games this season. No doubt in my mind.
