Colts are one of only five teams this season that has scored 20+ in every game.

We’re actually the top scoring offense in the AFC South right now.

#11 in points per game overall.

Crazy part is we’ve done it against some really good defenses too. With the exception of the Rams, every time we’ve played is 12th or higher in points allowed per game.

“The investment lands in the early years of quarterback Anthony Richardson’s contract, which are capped by the CBA. Then, by the time Richardson has fully developed, the Colts can retreat to the draft and find a new tailback there.”

“Given the structure of the Taylor contract, that likely won’t happen until 2026, at the earliest. That’s the same year in which Richardson will be eligible for a second contract.”

“So it’s a win-win, one that came after both sides seemed to be headed for a loss-loss. Irsay deserves credit for dropping the tough-guy facade. G.M. Chris Ballard likely deserves credit for nudging Irsay in that direction.”

Would definitely be unfortunate, but maybe best in the long run.

Well, if surgery is what he needs then it's probably better to get it done now. Anyone with a half a brain had lower expectations for this year anyway. Get it taken care of and use the extra time to recover and rehab before next year. Wouldn't want to see him in a position that JT was in when camp time rolls around.

At least they have about as good of a back up in Minshew as they could ask for.
