Needed to keep Clowney/Watt from blowing up Luck: check
Needed to shut down DeAndre Hopkins: check
Needed the run game to be big: check
Needed to force Watson into mistakes: check

That last one on your list happened but it easily could have gone the other way if he would have made a few better throws. They could have rallied a come back if the D hadn't stopped them on 4th down.
Reich's post game interview was spot on when he said happy with the outcome but they just didn't execute enough in the 2nd half.
Regardless Colts played well and I am still impressed with what they have done this year. Now go shove a headdress feather up the Chief's @$$!
