    From the article:

The second major issue, is that many “No” votes are not being tallied. This was originally brought to attention by “The Truth About Guns” Facebook page. I initially had my doubts, so I began voting “No” from several different computers and mobile devices. Sure enough, the fans from “The Truth About Guns” are right on the money! Many of the “No” votes are not being counted!

In the interest of intellectual honesty I have to say that this is probably not true.

Looking at the page's source, and seeing how the page responds to posting your vote, I'd say it's likely the poll results are cached server side and loaded with the page. That's why the numbers don't change. Doing that is probably more of a technical/performance decision than a political one. It's a pretty common thing to do with distributed web apps.

Taking more time and using an http analyzer, I could figure out a lot more about how the page works, but that still wouldn't tell me if they're ignoring some votes because that's done server side. Bottom line, the tally is probably cached, and it likely only updates every few minutes and loads with the page.

I assumed the same thing when it didn't immediately count up, but when it did update several votes were added - who knows if the count is correct.

Voted. It is funny how polls seem to go unreported when the numbers fail to go the way libs intended:)

We're winning 69%-31% on a network that is only slightly more anti-American than Al -Jazeera.
