Magazines have both a spring and a follower (moving parts).
Clips do not have springs or followers (the M1 Garand uses clips, as does the S&W 625 revolver in .45 ACP).
When using the word, "clip," most people are speaking of a magazine.
Suggest calling magazines "magazines," not "clips."
Oh. Okay. And in a similar vein, I want people to quit calling engines "motors".
