Correction. I don't think where she stands changes one iota. Where she SAYS she stands changes with the polls.
Bernies honest, if I were voting in the Democratic Primary that'd be all I'd care about. I'll take an honest socialist over a dishonest capitalist every time. At least one is trying to do the right thing, the other is genuinely out to screw you to benefit herself while pretending she's on your side.
Ok I know there are some democrats here on INGO that will vote democrat until the day they die, no matter what.
it's more like a person that is a socialist and is truthful about it vs a person that is a socialist and deceitful about it.
In my book both can rot in Hades... I want nothing to do with either of them.
Sanders or The Hildabeast?
That's like asking do you want to shoot yourself in the left side of the head or the right side or the head.
Democracy has come to mean that "we the voters" get to choose between Hitler or Stalin. Take your pick. I have never in my life of 63 years met a presidential candidate that I would vote for. They're all crooks. I mean out of all of the people in the U.S. the best they can come up with are clowns like Richard Nixon or Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton or Barack Obama? Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. It's not a Constitutional Republic - it's a scam.
I don't think Hilary's a socialist at heart, She's whatever gets here elected at heart, that's why she's no better and no worse than most the republicans running, they are politicians first and foremost. It's getting elected that defines them, very few have any true values and on the occasion they do it's very obvious and refreshing.
While I agree that she's a megalomaniac, I do not agree for a second that she's no worse than the republicans running. She's a bitter, man hating, sixties and seventies reject, hell bent on her agenda. And frankly if I had to pick person that was in it for the power, I'd pick someone with an agenda I could agree with more.
So we get to disagree on that.
Of the current crop of candidates, there are two that DO have values and stick to them that I can think of : Carson and Rand Paul come to mind. And that's without even thinking twice. But you appear to rail against them at every turn. Should we really take your statement of "I find them refreshing" at face value?
Or have I been mistaken?
Why did I think 'Chicken' when I read the title of this thread.
