So you have had training, you can rack the slide on your belt if your support hand is unavailable. You can rack it on your boot. Your so fast you can rack it then shoot.

Ever had to do it after being shot?

While somebody is shooting at you?

When the adrenaline is pumping through your body?

This is why I carry chambered!!!

I am not sure on this one but on a 1911A1 45 if you have one in the chamber and the hammer down and dorp the gun or it is otherwise forced against something hard can the chambered round be fired. Since I started carrying with a round chambered that is why I alway have the gun on the half cock position or cocked and locked.

Just to be clear: You carry a 1911 with the hammer half cocked and a round in the chamber?
