I hadn't been to Glenbrook in quite some time, but had to go yesterday.
I noticed this new addition right at the main entrance. Note the last line (bottom right).
Gander's firearm sign adds "this does not apply to permit holders"...
Does this one at Glenbrook mean us?

If they catch you carrying, they'll ask you to leave... (per the two lines in the black area of the sign. If you refuse to leave, I believe they can get you for trespass.

On the other hand, If you CC properly, the issue should never arise. I have carried there, and will continue to do so. If they should ever ask me to leave, I'll go. Many other places to shop.

Only issue I see, is their video gear probably got you snapping a pic of the posted policy..... hmmmmmmm why is she interested in that ??????:dunno:

If they ask you about the taking the picture of the sign, tell them you read slowly. :)
I'll just show them the other 50 pics I snapped of random crap at that mall and tell them that's just how I roll. I'm a hick...I don't get out much. Shiny stuff and colored lights fascinate me.

P.S. I'm not really kidding. Here's one of the others I snapped at a kiosk by Journeys:

I also have one of a license plate that says "squirrel", but I'll spare you.

I emailed them and asked but the never responded. :(

Take the sing for EXACTLY what it says.

"Example of activities that are not permitted include:
    No firearms or illegal weapons"

So not having a firearm is not permitted? And what exactly is an "illegal weapon"?

    two things.
1.) i have lived in Fort Wayne for 3 years now, never having the need to go to Glenbrook. Now i will continue not going there.
    2.) I will need to order that Tee-Shirt. :)

Huh, went there today, didnt see the sign-

I can assume that more and more businesses will start doing things like this to discourage CCW permit carriers.

Right smack dab in the center of the entrance way by Barnes & Noble (the doors facing Coliseum Blvd.)... you can't go straight or you'll run right in to it and it's rather large, so you have to go way to the right or left just to get past it.
Is it not posted at every entrance? Hmmm...Interesting!

I didn't see anything on the sign banning human remains, unless of course they see remains as interfering with the family shopping atmosphere.

I had to stop in on Tuesday, didn't even notice the sign (entrance by the fountain). I've always carried in there, never been asked to leave before.
(Granted I rarely go to the mall)
