With all the paranoid silly crap I see on this forum, I also assumed the ninja weapons were something you really thought you needed.

Its not all that far away from some stuff people were SERIOUS about :)

I know ppl need alot of stuff.. but how far can you hump with your bag? You may wanna re consider what you really need. IMHO If you need to leave your vehicle or shelter or ??? Its call a bug out bag.. not a bug in bag.

I was wanting to know the same thing when I saw it.

It is very heavy, probably 40-50lbs and that's why I throw in on my back and walk on the treadmill at least 3 times a week. To me prepping isn't only just, weapons, food and water but also prepping my body by working out.

I figured someone working towards their 50 count was going to ask, so I thought I'd be a nice guy and ask for them.

In all seriousness, I know Remington makes a bag that has a flip out pocket you place the stock of the rife in and run the barrel of the rifle through the bag. I thought maybe your bag was made similar to that Remington one and was interested on how well it works.

I didn't know such a bag existed, I may have to look into that

Something I did not see come up in reviewing this thread: if you leave your sleeping bag packed and compressed, it WILL lose loft and insulation ability permanently (depending on how long it is left packed). These should always be stored in a loose bag or hanging free and compressed just before leaving. This fact complicates having the family BOBs ready. We have plenty of sleeping bags, but they can't be packed ahead of time.

Is this concerning sleeping bags filled with natural fibers or synthetic?

I know it is said to randomly stuff your Modular Sleep Systems into their bags instead of rolling them up. It's supposed to be better on the stuffing.

if you look on ebay there is a company that makes a sleeping bag that stuffs down to a sack that will fit in the palm of your hand. down to like 40 degrees I believe but like most manufactures you could probably get lower than that especially if sleeping in clothing.
