then they have effectively banned me. No problem.

The post I referenced rubbed me the wrong way but I've been back - good thing there is a wings etc in Avon.

OH if you guys like wings in a gun-friendly environment, check out the wings from Shalos in Greenwood, HOLY CRAP!

My friend gets them every time we go - I have not tried them yet but they look amazing.

Didn't a new law just pass that signs like that have no wight the only builds u cans go in is a school and builds with court rooms in them.
The new law was about local government. Signs at a private business have never carried the weight of law in Indiana. They can still ask/tell you to leave, and then it becomes a trespass issue. Same as "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service".

Or, in this case, No Guns = No $$$ from me.

I've never really cared for B-dubs anyway. I have always tried to avoid it. Wings, Etc is awesome btw. Don't know their policy, but I've never seen a sign

Most signs have no "weight in law" based on how they are written.

If a sign is written as follows then it DOES have the weight of law.

We deny entry to anyone who has a gun on them and will consider you treaspassing.

The treaspasing law says you (owner of property) must deny entry and state it as such.

The B-dubs without signs are generally franchised locations, instead of corporate-owned stores. The BWW in Merrillville is a franchise store, and they don't have the sign. Never hassled me OC-ing either.

I bet those guys need to hire a semi to haul away all of the cash they're making. It must be nice to have so much business and be doing so well that you can tell a sizable chunk of your clientele to get lost.
