    And why?
Because it's popular to bludgeon her because of political differences or because it's fashionable to ridicule someone from flyover country.
Welcome to 21st century America, where situational ethics and anything goes politics reigns supreme.
Think of them as Democrat operatives with bylines and their actions make perfect sense. (Stolen from Glenn Reynolds)

    :ugh:

I can see your point at times but what do you need, a direct connection? This is excuse-making at its finest.

Not sure how you can, in good conscience, keep defending this President. Obama's two terms have been disastrous. And Hillary would continue (and probably eclipse) the damage done to our Republic. I shudder to think of the United States my infant children will inherit if we cannot stop this current trajectory toward socialism.

+1! That is no help and just like the song that never ends.. it goes on and on my friends.. once in a while I can get it but here lately.. ehhh? Well said. Thanks.

I obviously disagree. I doubt if a guy slapped me today, and I punched him in the face two years later I could say I did it because he "provoked" me. Somehow, I think I'd still end up in jail.

So things of the past are not valid in the actions of today.
    Obviously some people think otherwise.
And a few hype that BS to make them feel justified.

A co-worker and I agreed the other day that people are wanting immediate solutions that in reality will take generations.
I think that's kinda the ironic thing. IMHO, it was getting better with each generation.

My generation, GenX, seemed poised to really have a constructive dialogue about race. Our kids are more integrated - physically and socially - than any other generation before.

    And then this.

Tell him to see if Target is hiring. Seriously, their mid and upper level management loss prevention guys made low six figures back in the early 2000's.

He can do a LOT more with that degree...and even more doors open with a master's. He should go into consulting, research, or become security director

Thanks, I'll pass this along to him.

I think he is just mentally exhausted with dealing with the people that the police deal with all day. It's a thankless job. Plus, he is to the point where he has to check the schedule to see what superior is working his shift, and then act accordingly. Some of them are focused on policing, and a few are more focused on staying out of the paper and not offending anyone. I feel for him.
