Went to the grocery store here in town last night. Picked up some stuff for dinner. The place was packed. Everyone was buying supplies for the coming snow.

Talked to my dad this morning. He went to walmart last night. It was packed as well.

Everyone was stocking up on the samething.

Bread, milk, and eggs. Is this the universal survival food for being snowed in?

Bread for samaches when there is no power, Milk is just a staple but is used in a lot of recipes/food prep as are eggs.

However, if there is no power, the last two won't do you any good if it's out for long.. :)

I think I got this from here.... it was a French Toast weather alert.

My wife hit the grocery on Tuesday. It was mobbed and poorly stocked. She ended up at Marsh for some things.

Tuesday is just the usual grocery day for her. We don't do the whole "panic cause snow is coming" thing.

Forgot about beer and smokes. I am sure the beer sellers gas stations and smoke shops were packed also.

Still you figure they are not really selling more than the would over the say 2 day period just doing it all in 6 hours instead of 2 days. ANd lots of people prepping for family events and parties I know i have 2 this weekend.

Keep walking there is nothing to see here.

I had french toast this morning. I also forgot how bad shape my snow shovel was in.I should have got one on the way home last night. I bet it would have been packed buying de-icer and shovels. Add the hardware store.

It sounds awsome! I don't know why Hotpocket hasn't made this! We love us some peanut butter!

    My favorite one:
1 cup oats. DO NOT USE INSTANT!
2 tablespoons of crunch NATURAL peanut butter
    1 cup of water
Nuke it for 2 minutes. Stir. Nuke 32 seconds. Stir. Another 32 seconds.
Then mix in 2 scoops of Choc. Low Carb Protein Powder. Then a packet of splenda.
    It's delicious!

    Recipe #2:
1 cup of oats. No instant!
    1 tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter
1 cup of Low carb chocolate milk. Get the one with no fat.
    Nuke it. Microwave times vary.
    Stir. And enjoy!

Oatmeal is very good for you. But the problem with it is there is no protein. You HAVE to have Lean protein and low carbs in every meal.

    Give it a try!
