He has been sending his people everywhere to try to get his agenda in. Has found the Dems in CO to his liking and they are going forward with gun control. He wants to be president in 2016 so he can push his agenda on everyone instead of just New York!

What do you expect from a guy who won't even let his people buy a Coke because he's such a genious! They poll places they know will give the desired results, just like mass murderers attack schools not gun shops. We need to keep the libs in there own states.

Bloomberg (and Cuomo as well) are the type of semi-dictatorial politicians that ALWAYS know better than the populace what is "good" for them. Only the truth as they know it counts, everyone else are either radicals or uneducated rubes who just don't understand that they are harming themselves and others.

    Elitist liberal trash!

Once I saw the article is in the Indy Star, I immediately flag it as biased.

Then when I saw what redryder quoted, it just shows how biased and fake it is.
    Indianapolis Star said:
Mayors Against Illegal Guns, a coalition of more than 850 mayors, released the data from a survey conducted in more than 60 states and congressional districts.

While searching a man after his arrest in Broad Ripple in August 2012, Indianapolis police found this unlicensed .380 semiautomatic handgun. A poll from a coalition of mayors has found 89 percent of Hoosiers favor background checks on all gun buyers. / Danese Kenon / The Star

Unlicensed? There's no licensing on guns in Indiana.

Well, I'm one of the Hoosier's who isn't in favor on universal background checks. I highly doubt that figure is accurate. The ones who are in favor of it are the same TV heads who say, "Oh, that sounds good; let's do that," without doing any research. Anyone who's actually researched the issue would surely not agree. They'd also tell that carpetbagger to get outta town!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Bloomberg was the mayor of New York City? Why the hell is he trying to push his policies and his ideas on people in a state that's not only miles and miles away from his jurisdiction, but has a completely different culture and opinion on the 2nd Amendment? Maybe Nanny Bloomberg should focus on running his city and stay out of ours?

Just remember guys, 74% of all statistics are made up. If they didn't provide details on the poll then that's proof right there that it's a crock of s***. Any legitimate poll should have a scientifically determined cross-section of the populace represented along with a sufficient sample size to justify the results in addition to a margin of error. My guess is that whomever conducted this poll probably asked 100 supporters of the "Million Moms for Gun Control" to weigh in on UBC.
