The Democrat candidate was a Jew. Some right leaning news/commentary have said he’s been at least supportive of radical orgs that hate Jews. I haven’t been able to confirm that, but it’s certainly plausible that he’s been radicalized by some group like New Black Panthers.

Can confirm. I have seen some archived social media stuff where he was supportive of and reposted material from a [local?] group aligned with the [is it] Black Israelites who are virulently antisemitic

Oh yeah. If he’s hooked in with that group he’s probably been radicalized.

Basically the illegal gets stopped/turned themself in, a warrant gets issued, a immigration officer serves the warrant, takes them into custody and then releases them with a copy of the warrant with instructions to present themselves to a local ICE office.

Interesting, and I get that that the volume of illegal immigrants and other practical matters may cause a less-than-perfect process.

I looked up the percentage of illegal immigrants that don't appear for trial. The numbers seem generally between 40-48%. Perhaps not allowing air travel would help improve the appearance rate? Just my crazy curmudgeon mind working.
