they were probly lost and using a land mark (road) to find their way back to a way point. yes they realy do use roads to find their way. and they get lost more than you'd think!!

I always find things like this a little humorous. I live on an Army Post where there are military aircraft flying over my house and in the general area everyday. It's a little bit funny because I don;t even really notice them anymore, so when I read about people being even a little bit freaked out about it it makes me smile.

That being said, there is no reason you should be even the slightest bit intimidated by them. They are there to protect you, even if you did vote for Obama they are not going to hurt you.

Blackhawks fly past my house, pretty much every day.

One time, I was riding my motorcycle, and they came and hovered right over me and followed me <or so it seemed> down the road.

Kinda funny, I expected some kind of wind or noise, but it was pretty quiet really, the motorcycle and the wind noise from the road was louder.

Fun stuff.
