Bird ID

This little guy was a window casualty this morning and I've not seen his like here. My bird book does not have one like him. Wish I'd taken the pix this morning but identifying him only occurred to me in the last hour or so. About 5-6 inches nose to tail. Can anyone make positive species ID for me?

Now I know! They are all over my property and I described them as greyish brown Robins. Couldn't tell what in the heck they were.
