I can deal with an honest debate concerning any issue, but to have an American elitist and a British citizen discussing our Constitutional rights is a bit sickening. "Where does [the Constitution] end?" Wow!

Can someone please tell me how the gun used in Tucson was modified?!

Okay, I'm done! At 6:45 he tells us how the Second Amendment came into being.

Evidently inserting a larger capacity magazine produced by the firearm manufacturer into a firearm that was not initially sold with it is now called a "modification". Or, maybe he had one one of those barrel shroud thingies on it!

i saw part of that and it made me very angry. i almost shot the tv with my modified gun, because you know, i'm some crazy, religious right winger! Thankfully we have laws against things like that. that was one of the stupidest things on TV. EVER.

So Bill Maher says "guns are a religion"?

    Sarcasm MODE ON

Then if Maher is right, then logically that means all the government officials who surround themselves with armed people guarding them are attempting to "establish" a religion.
    Which is CLEARLY unconstitutional. :D

    Sarcasm MODE OFF

On a more serious note, Maher is a moron.
