    Have a really good lawyer(actually couple of lawyers). Then just as the cop would make your life hell, make his life hell drag his/her thru courts, make sure the cop loses the job and then file personal suits. Basically sue he/her and the department into oblivion.

    You do know they get overtime for going to court right?

    Yeah, 9x18's response may have been passionate, but it was actually pretty worthless. If you have any idea how the courts work, you would know that would be a very long and very expensive ordeal, and it would not yield those results.
