I went through the Chicago museum of science and industry a few years ago.
They had a German U-Boat on display. I believe it was U505.
It was UNBELIEVABLY small, and I can't even begin to imagine living on one.

Yes it was the 505.
Yes it was small.
Modern nukes are bigger. They also carry more and have larger crews.
After 6 month, the difference between the two is negligible.
