This was an actual conversation I had tonight with IT support. The help desk is located in India.

His accent was from India

Me – Hi my name is Armed Citizen operations supervisor of (XXXXXXX) Indianapolis facility and I am calling to report that we are experiencing computer issues and our AIMS system and our RF units are currently down

IT guy – My name is Daniel, what caused the problem?

Me – There was a electrical power fluctuation and the building lost power for a few seconds.

IT guy – Do you have an IT or computer room?

Me – Yes, it is located in the front office

IT guy – Please go there

Me – OK, it is a long walk up there so please hold on

IT guy – No problem

Me – walking

Me – Ok Daniel, I am in the computer room

IT guy – OK, do you see any computer type boxes with electrical wires coming out of them.

Me – Yeah, Daniel this is the computer room these things are everywhere, the room is full of them.

IT guy – Oh, I better call someone else, please hold.
