Brk: CEO of Ashley Madison parent company stepping down

I hope everyone who was counting on this business invested wisely, because while reprehensible morality isn't ending any time soon, the data breach plus the revelation that there were virtually no women will kill it.

...until they shut down, change their name and start up again and start taking the money of no class, no brain, horndogs again.

Who really knows....there could have been a significant portion of the business providing hookups between males, or have they released info on such matters?

Still, there is a clause in the Ashley Madison terms of service that notes that “some” people are using the site purely “for entertainment” and that they are “not seeking in person meetings with anyone they meet on the Service, but consider their communications with users and Members to be for their amusement.” The site stops short of saying these are fake people, but does admit that many profiles are for “amusement only.”

This would seem perfectly truthful. While not explicitly addressing it, completely bogus profiles are the product of users (nothing specifying that AM personnel or owners cannot also be users) participating for their own amusement, in this case by way of idiots giving them money, which those receiving would definitely find amusing.

Not even. They estimate that only about 12,000 of the women were real. It was mostly a fraud to collect money from men, very few of whom got what they wanted from the web site.

Last thing I saw was closer to 5,500 possibly real women.....probably a little too "real".

Hunter Biden is on it?Breitbart ^
Business executive Robert “Hunter” Biden, reportedly an adviser to his father’s political career, told Breitbart News Monday that he suspected his enemies of creating a fake Ashley Madison account for him in order to discredit him. The email address provided for “Robert Biden’s” account matched a personal email address once used by Biden, the vice president’s son confirmed.

Yeah, because the Russians, who wanted to discredit him, must have known that the information would be eventually hacked and leaked. Seems obvious then that the whole hack was done by the Russians, just to discredit him. It was all about him.
