It sounds like it was an upset faculty member who opened fire at a faculty meeting. So doesn't look like there were students involved.

Interesting points to this story:
1) The shooter was female. That's unusual enough in itself.
2) In the article I read, they quoted two female students. One heard screams. The other had petitioned the school to allow students with permits/licenses to carry, was turned down, and states very clearly that she is scared to be at school without her firearm.

Unlikely, but maybe now the school will listen to the second student.

Wait a minute. How did that happen? Wasn't this school a Gun-Free-Zone? WHY WON'T CRIMINALS FOLLOW OUR LAWS?!?!

Sadly, the 'solution' will undoubtedly be to erode the 2nd Amendment some more, and make some new laws. So stupid. Makes about as much sense as running gasoline through a fire hydrant.

just like insurance fraud, the crap seems to happen all the time well, when I go back to school this fall its already well known it'll be with something stashed away....lol
