    If you like you current AR, why sell it? If you don't like it I can understand selling it to get something you like. Just don't assume you will get what you think you'll get for your AR as the market is flooded with ARs right now.

    It's not that i don't like it, i would just need the money from selling it to fund the other project. The only part to balance is the current ar I like against building my own.

    Leaning toward building it. Now to pick the caliber. I am interested in possibly upgrading it from 223/5.56 from the old build to a bigger caliber. Thinking 6.5 or 6.8. I hear interesting things about these rounds as an upgrade and since I'm getting into reloading I don't think cost will be as much of an issue as long as the bullets don't run too much.
