Urban ERT here, I also have a few ms3 slings that are ok but I don't like them as well.
Plus an Indiana owned company.

I use a single point that I picked up at Dunham for $20. It does the trick for what I need it for.
Makes your balls sore?
Magpul MS4. QD into the rail in front of the receiver, and QD into SOPMOD stock point. Th slider is easy to grip and manipulate.

Vtac, blue force gear, or usgi here you can't beat a good two point sling.
I have a similar setup and also have not made the shoot happen. life!I forgot I have a USGI sling on my "Liberty Training Rifle". I haven't fired that rifle since I set it up for an Appleseed (which I have yet to attend despite that rifle having been set up for years).

That makes three of us...I have a similar setup and also have not made the shoot happen. life!
My AR is currently supporting an original VTAC sling. I like the simple 2 point sling and that length is quickly adjustable. I also use it for stability when shooting prone or kneeling.
^^^^ yup. yup. yup.
also currently using vtac, but brand doesn't so much matter. 2 point lets you keep control of the gun and carry in several positions. quick adjustability allows it to provide stability for better accuracy.
1 points are ball/knee busters when moving.
3 point are spider webs waiting to tangle you up and can be a mess to adjust/convert.
I like my 2 point tied to the back/top of the stock and side of the fore-end.
