I had wanted one for a while, but I decided it was time to get my "homeland defense rifle" while the gettin was good. I'm happy with the Armalite - the Eotech is nice but not as great as I thought. My eyesight is not perfect so the 65 moa ring is a little fuzzy, but the center dot is fine and as long as it is turned down, it does the job.

Looks like a fine rifle you got there! Now you just need some back-up iron sights incase the batteries die in the EOTech.

All my rifles use V-Tac slings and flashlight mounts, Matech BUIS. ERGO grips on two of them.

The lightweight is right at 7.3 lbs. My other two rifles are 9.5 lbs.

If I took the Matech sight off, I could save .3 lbs. The all steel sight is heavy!
