Thanks. That was a couple of months worth of sourcing to find the parts I wanted on this build. It's not a true clone, but I did it the way I wanted it, and I believe it is better than as issued.

I used a Noveske upper and lower for the build.

    Other highlights:

    CLE Douglas SPR Barrel
    Geissele DMR trigger
    LaRue rail
    LaRue/Harris bipod
    LaRue Scope Mount
    Ops Inc. Brake and Collar
    Daniel Defense MK12 Gas Block
    Other assorted goodies throughout

Now if it will just quit raining so I can actually get out and shoot the thing.

Wow my bad, I guess I just assumed you went KAC all the way, being a KAC fan. I too am going with the larue rail when I get my upper for my CB build, I tryed for the longest time to find pics of a MK12 with the larue and yours was right under my nose the whole time.:): Go figure...

I am currently doing a MK12(ish) build. I don't plan on having a true clone either, but rather making my own personal changes.

    Here is the start:

The rifle length KAC free floats are hard to find....one of these days I'll find one at a good price and swap it out :D

I suppose mine is still a bit of a work in progress. Still need a rear sight for it. I have another stripped lower. This was my into to the AR-15, I'd like to build another for longer distance shooting.

    DEL-TON flat top upper
    Stag Arms lower
    Aimpoint red dot sight
    ERGO Grip
