Well, tax stamp is $200, the stock I want is $100, and the buffer tube is $40.

That pistol is 11.5" so I have to SBR it.

I'm guessing it includes $200 for a tax stamp.

Might as well jump in with some random pictures of mine.


Black is a Superior Arms lower with a Double Star upper, carbine length.
OD is a PSA rifle with lightweight barrel, mid length. This is my go to rifle.

Recent additions to both are the YHM Phantom flash suppressors and BCM Mod 4 charging handles.

Both are set up pretty much identical with the exception of the Matech rear sight and flashlight on the mid-length. Black has a rear BUIS, but I wouldn't mind getting a Matech for it.

Here's a little progress on my "slow & steady" budget build. Got the CMMG LPK installed today and also put the FA and dust cover on the stripped upper.

So far, after some great deals, I'm less than $300 in to the rifle.

Is the charging handle latch protruding much as it looks like in the picture, or does it just look that way since the buffer tube is missing? Looks like it's sticking out bout 1.5"! What is it?

Yes. It's very extended. Not sure I like it. I'll probably replace it with a slightly more subdued extended latch.
