    Wife's AR build finally done!

Turned out to be a really nice setup and pretty light weight. PSA even screwed up so they shipped me better components than I ordered! +1 PSA!

Glad Im not the only one that's a fan of the Magpul Rifle stock :D

I like it to but am undecided if I want the Magpul or a standard A2 stock. I think I may want the extra LOP I can get with the Magpul stock with the thicker butt pad.

About to start my 5.45x39 build. The cerakote looks great, thanks Allen M!

EDIT: together but still need the matching magpul pro rear, aimpoint pro, and the ergo grip I forgot at home. Feels like a great start into 5.45

I know this is by far not the best ar out there. That being said i bought the rifle for a really good price and figured it would be a good starting point too see if i do like this platform. So far its been great, 2k rounds and being shot almost weekly it hasn't had a single issue not to mention the gf loves how light it is. Now with my next ar and first build on its way this one will belong to her.

Nice fluted drill bit you got there....is it one of those fancy ones that the coolant flows through the middle as well? All joking aside, that looks a lot like some of the drill bits we use on our engine blocks to ream the finished hole sizes.

That looks like a spiral fluted barrel...

thecolter... love how crystal clear that photo is. What kind of camera did you use?

    You ream with drills? :n00b:

Back to your regularly scheduled programming... lol.

Well, technically we use reamers...but didn't think most would know what one was, but most probably know what a drill bit is. Usually rough drill the size and then bore/ream to finished dimensions.

BTW Mvcian...really sharp barrel you have for that build. That is going to look great. Sorry I made a bad joke about the barrel and side tracked the thread. :ingo:

ETA: Pic thread. My 300BLK SBR w/ YHM can compared to my 16" M&P15.
