I’ll have one very soon. All the hands on reports I’ve seen are excellent and it appears from everything I see to be fantastic. Lots of people think it will put LabRadar out of business. Considering LabRadars previous level of customer support, it seems like Garmin is the smart choice.

Just got mine yesterday. Going to try it out today. Going from a large unit to one smaller than a pack of cigarettes will be a welcome change.

Our woods is very dark so normal ProChrono style units are hard to use. That’s why I picked one up.

Will be very interested to hear about your results. I have been eyeing a Labradar but the "Xero C1" is MUCH smaller and seems to have some great features. Please let us know...

I did a LOT of research and I’ll just say, I’m happy I didn’t buy a LabRadar a few months back. And I’m a dealer for LR.

Just got one of these but haven't used it yet. Lot less Hassel than carrying skyscreens and wires and timer for old chrono.
After looking it over it is slick but very basic.
I would bet version 2 will have functions for ES and SD and maybe power factor for the shooting games and be more expensive.

I used my first chrono for 20 years and it still works today. If I was younger, the nonreplaceable battery might give me pause. Otherwise, the Garmin looks very attractive compared to my LR.

Yep, got mine too (after hanging out with Aszerigan for an afternoon).
Love it. Easiest I have ever used. I will keep my MagnetoSpeed for back up. The others will all go bye-bye.
You will not regret the buying a Xero C1.

Buy once, cry once...don't look back.

I've been using mine for a couple of weeks now . Love it ! I've used it with my magneto speed and there's a few feet per second difference between the two . Easy to use and so convenient it's ridiculous . The price is the only thing don't like about it >

Yes - I got mine and it's amazing. I don't know how I dealt with the big chronos for so long. They're pricey but SO convenient and they fit in your range bag. Absolutely 10/10.
You all are now making me want one. I'm going to have to research it more. I've watched a few videos and I like want I see. Can you really just turn it on set it down on a table beside your firearm and shoot? It actually just picks up the velocity that easily?

    Yep...super simple.

I have used several others including 2 different Caldwells (I sold both), a friend's LabRADAR (accurate but finicky setup), my MagnetoSpeed v3 (keeping for backup only).

Seriously, it is the easiest solution yet.

I've had mine since late December of last year. It's been phenomenal. Battery life is great and it's so quick and easy to set up that I use it regularly. It's been awesome for checking new loads. I get accurate MV for rifles and the peace of mind knowing I'm not pushing the limits on my pistols without realizing it.

Been great for factory ammo too. My dad had set some targets up at 400 yards and was having a hard time getting on target (he likes to shoot but hasn't done much past 200 yards). He wasn't figuring his drop right because of the difference in velocity from his rifle and the box. He was getting frustrated since he was on target at 200. Once we got his new numbers he got an impact on his first try and was super excited. Definitely made it worthwhile to have even for that.

They seem pricey, but damn am I glad I spent the money on one. I never regret any of my purchases in this hobby, but it feels good getting so much use out of something.

I was at the range shooting last month and someone had one next to me. He was excited to play with it and see how it did with my 300 WM. It seemed REALLY easy to use and just plop down on the bench next to you. I always had good luck with my Labradar over the last few years, but the size and convenience of the Garmin were pretty impressive. I now have one and will be shooting with it tomorrow. My Labradar will be getting a new home.
