How many of the non-sleepers snore during the time that you do sleep? Ever wake yourself up by snorting [seemingly gasping for breath]? Ever read anything about Sleep Apnea? Google is your friend!

well, my sleep interruptions are due to health stuff, and medicine related to the health stuff.

In general, though, it does not bother me too much.

I tell you what, though, I had a hotel room recently that was like a vault and I slept like a baby in it.

And sedation really helps too. :)

As someone who has severe OSA(obstructive sleep apnea) I can attest that this is NOT something to be messed with.

If you ever wake up with headaches, or feeling as tired as when you went to bed even though you slept 8 hours, or wake yourself up snoring, etc. have it checked to be safe.

    Thanks for that info man.

Been up working on computers late this week, then I cant turn off my mind.

This is what usually does me in...I'll be working on something (was MBA school...but that is done), or have something from work on my mind. My brain will be going 1000mph as I'm trying to fall asleep.

Honestly what has influenced a lot of that is caffiene. I know that sounds obvious, but when I was younger, I could drink a 2 liter of Mt. Dew right before bed, and have no problem sleeping. Now if I have anything with caffiene, or even a lot of sugar after say 9pm, I'm usually awake until 1 or 2 AM. It took me a while to realize that now that I'm getting a little older (ok, so 30 isn't that old) I can't do things like I could when I was 19.

Cool...well maybe that will help you too then. I just am really careful to watch what I eat and drink. It so easy to sub-consciously grab a coke from the fridge after my daughter goes to bed, or eat some sugarry snacks.

My sleep problem starts with the time change. I really hate going to work in the dark and returning home in the dark. Add holiday stress and a lack of physical activity and my sleep patterns won't correct itself until spring.

Getting up to pee and a sore back... I'm very familiar with those two things!

    Advil PM baby....

I sleep great but I feel like I am in a fog the next morning....

That is why I have never done drugs I hate feeling not me....

Lately I have found if I drop the temp in my house at night I sleep better I have a programmable thermostat I keep it 66 during the day and then at night I let it drop to 58.
I know sounds cold but I sleep perfect this way...

Also I have room darkening shades, mini blinds, and curtains. I cover my alarm clock. I have to have NO light.

I only have sleep problems in the winter, and it sucks because I am tired during the day and wide awake in the evening and night.

For you guys complaining about back problems I don't care how much you spend on a mattress this will help. I did this till I bought a platform bed.

Put a piece of 3/4 inch plywood between your box spring and mattress.
