I don't think we'll get a new weapons ban anytime soon if at all but either way I am good to go.

We will have plenty of cheap ammo on the shelves again

absolutely---this shortage was simply demand out stripping supply(good old econ 210)caused by a human psychological reaction called "fear of loss".

Jumped into that mode last fall. Picked up a few things and tried to get a new AR the first month. It was difficult, they moved as soon as they came in the door. I would buy ammo and many mags if the push to control came up. Too busy with health care to be conserned right now, but it will probably be on the list oon enough.
