I too have the PT145PRO Millennium with the Stainless slide. I have put several thousand rounds through this little jewel with no issues what so ever. I love the compact feel, the trigger action has some room for improvement, but "bang for the buck" you can't beat it. I paid 349.00 at Pop Guns about 4 years ago.

I had a hammerless 357 that was really nice and for a snub-nose, it was very accurate at 25 yards. On the flip side, I had a 24/7 .45 and it was terrible. It would jam, stove pipe and generally **** me off. I hated that gun. I traded it for a Magnum Research Baby Eagle 9mm. I know Taurus makes good stuff, but that 24/7 burnt me especially when it was so highly acclaimed.

I have a PT24/7 PRO SS in .45 12+1. I have about 400 rnds through it, it just eats them up.. I used to have a 357 mag. I had some trouble with the cylinder, I sent the gun in for repairs, and they sent me a brand new gun. I will always be a Taurus fan.

sold my pt111pro because I lost confidence in it.

i kept hitting the mag release. sometimes while firing; sometimes while carrying in a variety of holsters. one day I had it in an OWB holster and went in side the house to change. the gun had no mag in it. went back to the car, there was the mag in the seat. That was the straw that said I'm getting rid of this gun.

Sold it at the INDY1500 and bought an XD9SC.

    Taurus 24/7 OSS DS 45

My better half has a Mod 85 stainless that she loves, it was mine but I gave it too her.
I now carry a CIA SS .357 mag. It's a handful with full power loads but it does the job.

I'm now looking at purchasing a OSS DS45.
If any of you have one I would like to know how well you like it.

I have the OSS DS 45. I really, really like this gun.

    1. It has been perfectly reliable.
    2. The trigger both DA and SA are easy to fire.
    3. The sights are right on.
    4. The handling and pointability of the gun I find to be excellent.
    5. Because of the 4 points above, I can easily shoot this gun very well.

It handles better and shoots better than any of my other six pistols.

    Great gun.

I have to admit...I had been a little skeptical about Taurus firearms. But I got to shoot a 24/7 for the first time last weekend and loved it! I'd also like to try the .38...I think that would be a good carry option as well

Yes, a Taurus 1911 and I love it. Pretty heavy for CCW but a VERY nice handgun.
