I'm the proud owner of two Swiss K-31's with walnut furniture, and a Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1, made in 1943. Let's hear it for battle rifles...

I really love the USGI surplus guns. Many of you are posting some nice K31, Mosins, Mausers and such. Very nice.

I started out with milsurps during the glory days of the late 80's and 90's and they still remain a great love of mine. I consolidated the collection down some in recent years , but maintain a number of favorites that still get shot from time to time.

I've got a 1938 Tula 91/30 with the SA Finnish Capture marks! Besides the SA, it is untouched by the Finnish Arsenal!

i picked up a chilean mauser not long ago. its not the typical 1895 but and 1893 with bent bolt handle and c prefix on serial number. the research i found makes me believe it was originally
    PICT49341.jpg
an 1893 boer war mauser that was stopped in a british blockade, sent back to germany then remarked for chili.

Hi guys, just got my first milsurp rifle... 1943 Tula Mosin with all matching numbers.. i've stripped her, cleaned the cosmoline out, dismantled and cleaned the bolt, checked the firing pin measurments, re-oiled her, and reassembled her... have I left out any steps that I need to be concerned with before throwing some lead downrange? (She's not my first rifle, just my first military one)
