    This type of activity doesn't make sense to me. Why would they care if someone buys one box or 10? Don't they make more money if they sell as much as possible as fast as possible? This especially doesn't make sense if people go there for ammo and see the shelves empty when they have some in stock. What is the rationale behind this?

    It gives the perception that they have items in stock all the time, it allows several customers to receive some stock instead of individuals constantly finding the item out of stock because one (or two or three) customers continually cleans the shelves before any other customers can get there.

    Better a few disgruntled customers then a lot of angry ones?
