What do you need? I have enough parts here to build two more motors. I have a spare tranny and three spare D300s.
    Huh...
I am thinking I need a Winning Lottery Ticket to finish my Jeep... :(

I would like to chase all the wiring ghosts out of it...
I would like to put a couple of extra cubes in the ol' 258...
I would like to hang a 6 speed Manual instead of the 3 speed...
I would like to either mod the Dana 20 in her or swap it out...
I would like to put her on a set of Dana 44 or better...
and I am sure there is more...

    Before you rip it down...

Make sure you check the other Pulleys and Tensioners...

Will do that before I mess with anything. I already on that but forgot to write it in the post.

But the noise has been coming and going... Yesterday was non-existant, today it's just like every 5-6 seconds (rather than constant squealing) at idle.

    Sad news :(

Water pump on my XJ is going out at 179k
First repair while I've owned it.

At least, that's what we think the problem is. Belt is moving around and squeaking a bunch! Temp. gauge still reads low-normal temps though
The cords in my water pump belt seperated giving mine some weird noises. It actually started ringing like a bell. It showed very little wobble. When it finally broke I replaced it and all the noises went away. I'd never seen or heard a belt act like that.

Is your defroster on when it is making noise?

Now that you mention it...I think that might be it.

Also, anyone have some summer plans for their jeeps?

    I want a 4" lift, 31-32's, rattle-can OD and rhino-line my fenders.
    Need to find employment soon..

I'd like to finish my 3B by Spring. I hope to be able to give the YJ a little love later this summer: instal a new floor pan, tweak the suspension and steering, SYE, steel wheels, and maybe a little body work.

We'll see. I've been wanting to work on my poor YJ for the past 5 summers.

Love my 04 tj hence the sign-on name. Wish I would have bought a jeep a long time ago. Just need warmer weather so the top can go down and the doors off.

I had played with the idea of putting flats on my CJ7. But I like the look the stock finders to much on the ol' CJ...

I have gray stock fenders on my TJ now. But I'm planning on purchasing a new Bestop soft top, black. So I want the fenders to match, and I really don't want to paint them.

My water pump blew yesterday while I was on my way to Peru to shoot clays... >.>
    Son of a *****.

Got it towed back to Kokomo today. Only cost $65.

On the bright side, I broke down about 2 miles before some speed traps. I was definitely doing at least 10 over
