Any issue with PSA?

M16 BCG's are heavier and are known to cycle better. But perhaps a better reason would be because AR style carriers have an unprotected firing pin. Meaning it may come into contact with the hammer during the cycle, over time causing malfunctions.

Avoid anything labeled "PTAC".

Exactly this. I have built with their lower part kits and have had to file about a millimeter from both disconnectors to get the trigger pull to be remotely usable. The money you save is more than countered by additional work while building.

That being said, I have two lowers and two uppers, both 16" (one CMV and one CHF) and they have been flawless.

I still need to buy a BCG, should i buy it from PSA? Do BCG's from PSA take the same amount of time to ship? Should i go with a different maker for a BCG, like BCM, armalite or failzero?

good products, excellent prices, shipping a little slow but acceptable.
my main issue with PSA is their customer service. don't get me wrong, they have good people just not enough (i guess). they have been very helpful when you can get ahold of them. with my last problem (i bought a lower parts kit that had an extra trigger guard but was missing the bottom cap for the magpul grip) it took them a week to respond to my email.
i would have no problem with and will continue to do business with PSA
