@ the corner of IN, KY & OH.
    @ duffman0286,
I had a Polytech Legend AKS underfolder years ago and like an idiot sold it. I sure wish I had it back. That was a fun rifle.
I looked at an I.O. Inc. Sporter a few weeks ago for $610. It was a nice rifle. I don't know a lot about AK's though to know what is good and what is not.

I would avoid the IO doesn't take any effort anymore to see negative reviews... DDI currently is one of the best buys on the block
I would love a legend but the time has past for that those saddly... (but my restored mak90 spiker even if its a slant cut fills that void for the time being)

Sense its not quite a long gun ill take the politically correct route and call it horizontally challenged... Still very much a work in progress but its turning out to be quite a nice Frankenbuild .... (the dura-coat rattle can is terrible stuff don't use it) i will have to do quite a bit of touch up

Any of you guys have any experience with these Bulgarian polymer "bullet" 30 round mags? Sgammo has them for $9. I ordered a few with a recent purchase but haven't had the chance to try them out yet 30 Round AK-47 Mag - New Bulgarian Made Polymer 7.62x39 Caliber Magazine | SGAmmo.com

Work great but have plastic locking lug....They do have steel reinforce feed lips however.... they work better than the polish commercial mags (the clear ones) but they probably will break with extended use.... But in all respect iv had more trouble out of the lugs on the Bulgarian waffle mags ... the plastic would pull of the metal reinforcement lug still leaving it unusable (i fix it with epoxy however)
