Criminals will always have illegal guns , they dont mind stealing them . How many gun stores have been broken into or firearms stolen from private law abiding citizens homes . I shouldnt have my rights infringed upon because criminals are just that criminals .

Somehow Mr. Holder must consider the "number of officers killed by illegal guns" statistic as a proper diversion from his own illegal guns, one of which did kill an officer of the law.

That's why members of the press should say in reply: "So, how many of those illegal guns did you allow to be sold by legitimate businesses obeying the ATF's orders?"

Fact: Officer deaths went up 13% overall.
Fact: Officer deaths from firearms went up much less than other causes, 1.5%.
1st. Conclusion: If Holder was concerned about officer deaths, he would try to reduce the deaths caused by the factors that caused most of the deaths.
2nd. Conclusion: Holder's only concern is about how to use officer deaths to advance his anti-gun agenda.

Using Holder's logic, since bird flu can be deadly, we must kill every brown dog.

Using Holder's logic, he is giving brown dogs the flue and handing the dogs to criminals.:D

Holder is responsible for hundreds of deaths in the USA and Mexico and he dares open his mouth about this? Chutzpah!

Uh, why does no one see this as inconsistent? The government agency allows these to be sold to know criminals and they walk away, they blame deaths on illegal gun ownership and usage, and yet they did it, they know they have done it. They claim they want to stop it, but they did not. He also says he is going to use everything in his power to stop this. Does that mean he is now going to surrender ALL of the ducuments in Fast and Furious un-marked out including his own emails? This is a clear smoke screen for the crap that he knows about!

YOU see it as inconsistent because you can think.
Holder, Obama, and most of the media believe most Americans are too stupid to notice the inconsistency. ("Fast and Furious was just a mistake. No one knows how it happened; it just happened. It probably won't happen again. Now, let's move on.)
They believe that if they say, "Guns are bad. They kill police officers. No one should have guns." often enough, most people will believe them and allow them to, slowly, a step at a time, outlaw all guns.

The man doesn't skip a beat, does he. Even with his head on the chopping block (God willing), he still does everything possible to take our guns. A true political.

To kill a virus, you first need to understand just how perfect it is at doing it's job.

The man simply never rests, never gives up, even to the bitter end.

On a boring Monday night recently, I watched an episode of Hawaii Five-0. In which Steve McGarrett was being framed for the murder of the Governor, who we later learn was killed by Wo-Fat. While on the run, McGarrett who had escaped from custody, went to one of his contacts, who sold him a small stash of weapons from the shed behind his house.

This raises a number of questions for me... the primary one being - if McGarrett knows this guy is dealing in illegal arms, why has he not busted him? For that matter, why, after he is returned to duty, did he not pursue this illegal activity?

Anyone with half-a-smart, knows that illegal guns are sold by illegal gun dealers... not FFL's under ATF orders (save this specific incidence). If you want to stop or curtail the flow of illegal weapons, you go where they are being sold or carried, shady warehouses and the car trunks of gang-bangers.

The truth of the matter, is that there will always be illegal guns. No matter how many you take off the street, more will follow. The only hope they have of putting a dent in this, is to pass laws that affect the legal sale of firearms, and hope they catch a few bad guys or prevent a few illegal sales along the way.

Q - When is the last time you heard of a fail on a NICS check, that resulted in the arrest of a criminal?

A - Never, because criminals know where to get guns illegally.

Could you clarify your post a little. It sounds like your in favor of backround checks, competence test, reports back to the fed, etc.

Not to jump the gun if your not, but trying to prevent a few illegal sales and catch a few bad guys has failed miserably. The only way to "put a dent in this", is to allow law abiding citizen to protect not only themselves, but their loved ones, and their property. Criminals have said time and again that the number one thing their scared the most of are armed citizens. Once the crooks know their are a massively outgunned by citizens who refuse to be victims. Not to mention who have a whole police force that is more or less willing to back them up. They'll either move to less outgunned territory, go further underground, or preferably decide that crime just isn't worth it.

The government, and police force, much to their shagrin, can't be everywhere at once. And are thus not the best tool to combat crime. A armed populace, however, can be.

Well, straight to the personal attacks, huh?

I asked for a clarification. I wasn't trying to twist anything. If I got it wrong it's because your were incapable of articulating your thoughts so others could understand you.

But maybe thats beyond your comprehension...:n00b:
