I won't disagree that those towns are crappy, but how the heck can anyone actually believe that Hoboken, NJ is the BEST small town to live in??? I think simply being located in NJ should be enough to disqualify any town from being a good place to live!

There was some article I saw on Facebook last week, I believe that ranked the towns/cities in Indiana (I think it was just Indiana). The link was found on one of our local, town critic's FB Page. It had Bedford ranked as one of the worst, compared to some of the larger cities and of course people chimed in. Your mileage may vary but for all of its negatives, I'll take Bedford ANY day of the week over the places like Bloomington and Indianapolis that were ranked above it.

I don't know what the baseline was supposed to be but there are other factors I would consider first above population.

The people who proclaimed Hoboken as a best small city must have been high on some illegal drugs. I, thankfully, moved out of NJ 10 years ago and never looked back. Hoboken? Really????
