My opinion is that the federal government is way too big to begin with. We are paying the wages with tax dollars. Cut the federal government in half and do away with everything but the 3 branches of government. and cut our taxes, gain more freedom without some gov agency without legislative powers imposing rules with penalties on us. The benefits go on and on. Its past time we the people lay off half of the feds!!!

Ok I'm on board with you so long as IF a group is reinstated, it has to be staffed by brand new people. With very strict rules about how they operate and at 90 there's a full audit. If they pass they get to operate for one year then a full audit again. If it works they get another year of not. Everyone is out on their ass and we try again.

A complete revamp of the department before it is reinstated. Also as a fed department employee, you chose to work or vote, but not both. You make the choice.

Why don't we start with federal employees who use their position to influence the outcome of an election (which violates the Hatch Act, a lot) before denying rights cart blanche.

Abolish the FBI overall is probably not a good idea.

What needs to be done is abolish the Democraps that control the FBI! Get rid of the Democraps at the DOJ, starting with that nut case AG Garland and all the top line executives at the DOJ.

Then get rid of all upper level management that is Democrap at the FBI. The rank and file are dedicated people who have not forgotten their their oath of office unlike management.

The whole reformation process starts and ends with abolishing Democraps!

Break up the alphabet agencies and scatter them into different regions of the country. The FBI could operate in say 5 different regions of the US all headquartered in smaller cities or towns. USDA really belongs in an agricultural area. The DOE belongs in east Texas or Louisiana if we decided to keep it. With modern communications the concentration of individuals in one area is not working out well.
