Gotta go with the majority: get you a good 9mm or 40 cal pistol first and your LTCH. A .22 rifle next and then a shotgun. The larger rifle can come later. If you're not so fond of the AR types, a good alternative down the road could be a Ruger Mini-14.
I never have this problem anymore because I am on a pistol, rifle, pistol, rifle purchasing pattern. I just have to decide which of the particular category I want when it is its turn. Makes life fairly easy
I love my XD40SC! I personally would go pistol then rifle. Make sure you look at the Mosin Nagants 91/30 while at Bradis they have a nice selection and a cheap fun rifle to shoot.
You're right, thanks for correcting me. Sometimes I have this bad habit of thinking that since I own a gun or two and have access to the internet, I must be an expert.
