I've called and killed coyotes from a variety of color phases over the years but lately I've collected a pair of good "book ends" for my mantle.
Last December I called up a family group and managed to kill this "white" female in Southern Indiana...
A couple weeks ago, just a few miles up the road, I made a stand and brought this "black" female in.
My wife hasn't complained about either trip to the taxidermist... but I think my luck there has run dry. I doubt anything in-between these color phases is going to impress her next time!
