Mrs. Miguel just scored some tickets to this, so we will likely go this weekend.

Anyone have recommendations on what to see?

Kids want to see the waterskiing squirrel, but I'm assuming there is more than that. :)

Babe Winkelman will be there. Last year I met Tom Miranda and got an autographed copy of his dvd; all 29 big game animals in North America with a bow. I've watched it countless times.

Me and a coworker are going to check prices for guide services on Lake Erie. We're going to try to head up that way in May.

If you can get there in time to get a seat, the "Water Dogs", or whatever they call it, is sure to be a good time. That's where they get the dogs to jump for distance into the water tank - chasing a toy of some kind. Big Air Dogs? Something like that.

Our favorite things to see are the RVs and the boats. Not that we'll ever be able to afford either, but being able to walk through the RVs and seeing the innovations and creature comforts on the high-end busses is fun.

And the stuff they jam on to the party boats these days is amazing.

The Chris Craft display is drool worthy...

It's EASY to spend a complete / entire day there on your feet. Pace yourselves - remember to hydrate and eat. (Sounds goofy, but seriously!)

Not sure yet if we'll be able to go. Wife could pop at any moment... And while she'd like to go walk to "help" the process along; I'd just as soon not have my son born at the Fairgrounds. :D

It certainly can be expensive... But you can get discount tickets at Marsh stores. (not so easy for us now that they closed the one right around the corner from our house - but there are more stores!)

But if you break it down by cost per hour, it's not that bad.

7-8 hours is easy to do there.

I'm going this Saturday. I have a disease thatis sometimes contagious but rarely transferred from husband to wife - but iseasily transferred from wife to husband. It is called TwoFootItice. The symptomis the overwhelming feeling to get a new boat at least two feet longer than theone you have. It's a very dangerous condition. Look for me with the Sea Rayboats. I'll be the one drooling. On a different note, there is a guy there thatsells full and half rack of deer antlers. Most people hang them on the wall. Ihack saw them up to give to my dog. Based on length I buy about $100 worth ofantler (from the pet store) for about $20. Best dog chew toy I have ever found. Cut in 5" lengths they will last all year.

I guess I should have read the OP a little closer, I showed up a few mins ago. Knew something wasn't right when they weren't charging $ for parking. Turns out the show starts at 3:00pm today!

At least we didn't have too far of a drive.

And yes, tickets are $11 at Marsh store vs. $13 at the door. Looks like I might try again Sunday morning.....
