Awesome looking Vepr! I just ordered the same optic setup from A&A. When I asked him about putting glass on a vep x54 he pointed at this thread and said he'd use that glass, mount and rings, so here goes!

Who cut, crowned and threaded your barrel? I'm in Bloomignton and will be looking to have the same work done on a vepr in a few weeks (or at least the threading if not the cut and crown).

Also, now that you have had it for a bit, did you find a load that it liked?
