.308 handgun
.308 Rifle
Copied directly from the Regs:
Handguns for deer hunting: Handguns,
other than muzzle loading, must have a
barrel at least 4 inches long and must fire
a bullet of .243-inch diameter or larger. The
handgun cartridge case, without the bullet,
must be at least 1.16 inches long. Full metaljacketed
bullets are not permitted.
Does that cover 7.62x39?
The way I understand it, if it's a "handgun", it's (7.62x39) legal.
Draco deer hunt anyone?
308 in a handgun is legal, in a rifle its not
I haven't had the chance to fire a high powered rifle cartridge out of a handgun, don't think I want to! Yikes
Savage Striker in .308....very accurate at 200 yards. (Been there, done that)
