The rumors are true. We are doing a multi-gun type format 22lr pistol, 22lr rifle match Sunday November 8th.

    More details coming soon.

It will follow the format we used for our 22pistol match but adding in 22lr rifle.

Hope to see you there, this should be a blast!

    Mark,
I think this is a great idea, and will be a lot of fun. Way to be creative, and encourage new shooters to our sport!
    Sincerely,
    Chuck

This sounds like a blast! I missed the last 3 gun, which would have been my first. This sounds like alot of cheap fun!

I just got a P22 so I will be good to go.

I can't go, but I wish I could. Sounds like fun.
Narrowing it to just one .22 rifle and one .22 pistol would be the hardest part.

I keep thinking about a friend's Remington 1100 in .410, and what an interesting 3-gun match could be held with .22s and .410s.

We will get the details nailed down and posted.

What we did with the 22 pistol match was the following:
Conversion 22 (1911, glock, etc) = Single Stack
22 with iron sights = Limited
22 with optic sights = open

All reloads were done from barrels.
Starting position was either low ready or loaded on barrel / table.

So no holsters required, no mag pouches required.

This will be similar with 22 rifle thrown in.

Scoring will be the usual USPSA rules with everything scored Major PF.

I would add that the stages are set up to encourage high cap mags for your rifle. And as before no suppresed guns. No revolvers.
This is really a lot of fun. And it is a chance to try these games on the cheap. Most of all the weather is going to be great. Not many of these Sundays left.

    See you on the range.

Hope to see a lot of you out there tomorrow! Like Kman said, weather is going to be great.
