10,000 rounds is only 20 bricks. Not "swimming in .22LR ammo" in my book, but at least the stuff is starting to show up.

What is this "22LR" you all speak of? I've heard of archeological digs that uncovered casings of a bullet that according to legend were cheap, no recoil, and thought of as "eternally available" by those who indulged. Was this more than just a myth?

I haven't spotted a brick of 22LR since Sandy Hook. The only 22LR I spotted are 50 round boxes going for $5-15, but very rare to see anything under $10.

    Wow, $8/50. that's $.16/round.
I'm reloading 9mm for $.14/round and I'm feeling pretty good about it right now

Not all 22 is created equal

As for 10,000 rounds being called "swimming", that amount would be considered pathetic in a regular year. Wow, 2 whole cases of 22.

I'm sure most stores, in a regular year, would have 20-30 cases on hand, maybe more. Hell I have over 2 cases of various 22.
