Recently got a SW22A myself. I like the weight since it is closer in feel to my carry piece a Glock 23. It is just so much cheaper to work on my marksmanship with the 22 than with the 40 cal.

I have my dad's MkI from 1955. Bear in mind, it won't eat hollowpoints. I'm still thinking about extending the ramp so it will. The MkII is best, the MkIII has some "safety" features that are probably best disabled, but that can be done. Too much to go into here, geek up and do a search.

I'd agree with most and say Ruger! I Went to the range yesterday and a buddy had the Mark II. It was a blast to shoot, very accurate and just nice. The range had a used one for sale but I didn't "pull the trigger" and buy it. Now I'm thinking of heading back to get it :)
